Linda Frank is a Nationally Board-Certified Reflexologist as well as a Nationally Certified Reflexology Instructor
Now having my own reflexology school, I previously created, directed and taught the Reflexology Certification at The Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts in Tacoma. Prior to that, I was the lead instructor for the Reflexology Certification Program and other reflexology classes at Bellevue Massage School (BMS). I also taught an introductory reflexology class to Acupuncture, Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine students at the acclaimed Bastyr University. I am the only Instructor in the Pacific NW Certified by the National Council for Reflexology Educators (NCRE).
I currently also serve on the Board of Directors for the Reflexology Association of America (RAA). For more about my background and the many reflexology courses I've taken, visit https://reflexologyforbetterhealth.com/about-linda
My reflexology school embodies a unique learning environment that will prepare you to take the Washington State exam that enables you to become a professional Certified Reflexologist. My reflexology classes incorporate traditional learning styles, some online instruction, and lots of hands-on experiences. I add to the traditional curriculum some learnings that I've acquired over many years of studies in e.g. yoga; Jin Shin Do Bodymind Acupressure; Traditional Chinese Medicine & Five Element Theory; Hawaiian Huna; and NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP),
I'm also teaching (& hosting guest educators for) CE classes for reflexologists, massage therapists, and the general public. See the CE Classes tab for details.
I am vaccinated, and require students to do likewise (which you'd need to do anyway in order to practice reflexology since state law requires vaccination for all healthcare practitioners). Per WA law we must still wear masks. I provide N95 masks, however, being vaccinated we can wear just cloth or surgical masks. Desks are 6' apart, there's plenty of hand sanitizer around, and there are air filters in the classroom and lavatory.
Your success is my priority. I provide a personalized approach to my reflexology classes, tailoring learning methods as well as some of the coursework to each student's needs and interests. While there are no official placement services in reflexology, as a former marketing professional I have many suggestions and often referrals to help you transition into your new career.
