No cookie cutter classes! I bring to my classes the most recent developments in healthcare and reflexology. Before having my own reflexology school, I previously created, directed and taught the Reflexology Certification at The Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts in Tacoma. Prior to that, I was the lead instructor for the Reflexology Certification Program and other reflexology classes at Bellevue Massage School (BMS). I also taught an introductory reflexology class to Acupuncture, Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine students at the acclaimed Bastyr University. I am Certified by the National Council for Reflexology Educators (NCRE).
I am a Board Director for the Reflexology Association of America (RAA). For more about my background and the many reflexology courses I've taken, visit https://reflexologyforbetterhealth.com/about-linda
On Jan 28, 2025 at 11 am PST, I'll be the guest speaker at the IRC's webinar series
Might a single reflex help PTSD & Long Covid?
This is not a rhetorical question, but a new inquiry based on my research into longstanding medical procedures in the realm of anaesthetic blocks coupled with the work and findings of Dr. William Fitzgerald's use of zone therapy for anaesthetic purposes.
By showing clients points to hold on themselves (or a loved one) that have been identified by some reflexology researchers as correlating to the areas where blocks are administered, we hope to ascertain whether self- or-other applied stimulation of these particular reflexes might to any degree emulate the medical procedure.
This is an introduction to a fascinating neurological process trauma can cause in the body, as well as one way allopathic medicine is addressing it -- and how we might assist clients to mitigate its impact reflexologically.

My reflexology school embodies a unique learning environment that will prepare you to take the Washington State exam that enables you to become a professional Certified Reflexologist. My reflexology classes incorporate traditional learning styles, some online instruction, and lots of hands-on experience both giving and receiving. I add to the traditional curriculum some learnings that I've acquired over many years of studies in e.g. yoga; Jin Shin Do Bodymind Acupressure; Traditional Chinese Medicine & Five Element Theory; Hawaiian Huna; and NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP). You can read more about my background on my Reflexology For Better Health website.
I also teach CE classes for LMT's, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.. I occasionally teach a one-day class for the general public as well. And I host guest educators for both reflexologists and LMT's.
Visit my CE Classes page for dates and details.
